Opportunity - MECHANICAL DESIGNER

Through continued product line development, Lode-King continues to offer innovative solutions to all our customers transportation needs. Lode-King has an exciting and challenging career opportunity for a MECHANICAL DESIGNER Duties would include:

- Developing designs for new and existing semitrailer product lines
- Learning and maintaining a detailed knowledge of industry related regulations and rules impacting company product lines
- Prepares Solid Works CAD models and drawings and is able to work within the company documentation system
- Works diligently to learn about industry standards and practices
- Programming engineering models using Visual Basic code
- The successful candidate will be expected to know or learn this programming language to support these programs
- Performing structural analysis on trailer assemblies and components using classical techniques, as well as FEA
- This person must be able to maintain a schedule and meet deadlines Ideally we are seeking a registered Professional Engineer or someone that is eligible for registration with APEGM.
